Request for Proposal-Bookmobile

Rockbridge Regional Library System seeks proposals for two Ford Transit 350, 148″ wheelbase, High Roof, extended length vans to be outfitted as bookmobile.

Interior must include 24 custom aluminum adjustable bookshelves with 7” or 9” depth, custom aluminum removable, single-sided book cart, LED lighting, and desk/workstation with seating.

Exterior must include lateral arm box awning, and LED scene lighting.

H.V.A.C. must include 4.5KW Engine driven generator, a roof mounted air conditioner, and electric forced air heater.

Generator and power must include 1000 inverter with 5 interior receptacle and 1 exterior receptacle as well as 25’ 30Amp shorecord with reducing adapters.

Satellite and connectivity must include Cradlepoint IBR1700 Wi-Fi router (Dual carrier with auto switching).

Included exterior door with running board.

Vehicle must be delivered and full training included. 

Company should be ISO certified.
