The Friends of the Bath County Public Library hosted our first annual "Love Your Library" event on Saturday, February 14th from 12-3 p.m in celebration of Love Your Library Month.
There was so much to love about this event! We had crafts, an axolotl "Axel" feeding and information session, a scavenger hunt, representatives of our "Seed Group" and Crochet Club were in attendance, and IT instruction on Libby and other tech services the library system offers. Local intellectual, Alan McCrae, did a presentation on axolotls and the importance of environmental protection. The Bath Community Hospital even sent representatives to answer any health questions!
Celebrate Black History Month in your classroom or at home with help from NoveList K-8 Plus. Teach kids about history, identity and resilience through curated title lists.
