Cataloging Assistant
Lexington is seeking a part-time Cataloging Assistant. Approximately 18 hours per week with pro-rated vacation and sick time. Rotating evenings and weekends required.
Required Qualifications:
•Ability to complete work accurately with attention to detail and in a timely manner.
•Knowledge and use of common software and computers.
•Ability to work independently and to work effectively with others.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Some college experience preferred
•Knowledge in the area of cataloging/metadata.
•Experience with Polaris or other integrated library systems (ILS).
•Experience working in a public library.

Library Assistant
The Buena Vista branch of Rockbridge Regional Library System is seeking a part-time Service Desk Assistant.
High School diploma and computer skills required. Customer service and library experience a plus. Successful candidate will assist patrons with all aspects of public library service, shelve library materials, assist patrons with various technology needs, and answer telephones.
